Hey, Thats an interesting piece of news .. but on seeing the link I feel that there is something missing in that design and its not as YUMMY as I was thinking that it would be !! Infact the pick up truck they had on display at the Auto Expo was much better looking ...

Also did you see the price that the SA's will have to pay ..a whopping 13.5 lacs ( 4X4 single cabin ) -- I wonder how much would they sell it for here in India if they were to ever launch it ???

Anyways nice find though ....

Cheers

Nice alloys; Two choice of cabin. I hate the looks of 4 door. the top of teh line cost 9lac not 13.5, na?
And seems its got a detuned engine.

It looks a bit awkard, dosent it? The pickup bed dosent quite gel with the design of the rest of the vehicle. I think they rushed through this design and didnt spend time designing the pickup bed to integrate it properly.

I agree with Islero. The 4 door one looks particularly awkward and ugly.

It's not Dodge Durango

Guys,

It's not Dodge Durango or Toyota Hilux by any stretch of imagination..

Still i would give a thumbs up to Mahindras for a good effort..

the single cab IMO looks pretty decent , especially in black

To each his own !!

Even NHC looks crap and awful to many people.. but still continues to sell good numbers for its strengths ....

Santro looked crap when launched but went on to become a best seller

If the product has inherent strengths , I think it will find buyers

This is UGLY!

Mahindras really dont know how to design pick-ups. Their Bolero cam[er is another ugly machine. The trouble is that all their designs have large overhangs and too much visual bulk. they look dis proportionate.

Even today, the Tata TL 4x4 looks the best. There is somehting timeless about that design!

They even got a double cab!!! I guess it would be mandatory for rear seat passengers to have their legs amputated above the knee...

good find bud, but they look really awkward specially its difficult to digest the looks of double cab.it feels like its a forced styling attempt. single cab seems to be much better effort.if launched in india it should be priced in range of 6 -8 lacs.

EEK! That looks scary.....the kind that we can frighten kids with when they dont stick to the line.

Come on Mahindra, you can do a better job than this.
