Re: New TVS Irizar Coach

What is the model of the Chassis and body?
I have not heard about vibrations about TVS coaches. Infact they are comparitively heavier than regular buses. But look into specific issues in this bus.

Hi Ashley, it is a 222 WB vehicle Registered around Dec of 2011. In Bangalore, the general feel about Irizar body is that they have lot of vibration , it is heavier and it has no resale value.

First, is it a normal TVS body or the iT09?

TVS bodies are legendary, they are supposed to be built to last and take huge amounts of abuse, even resale I heard is high, only problem is low mileage because of the weight and tyres wearing out faster

Shanthadurga has one in Bangalore, mostly is Bangalore - Belgaum Route and Suppa in Kovai.

Shantadurga has Bangalore-Belgaum and Mumbai-Belgaum IIRC.

Supaa runs Coimbatore-Kochi.

Shantadurga buses are non-AC semi-sleepers and the Supaa buses are airconditioned.

These buses look good outside, and they seem to have stood up well for the duration I've been seeing them. Especially the Supaa buses, as they endure a lot of bad roads.

Hi Ashley, Thanks for your help, at this moment i am unable to disclose the present owner of this vehicle. We have Sutlej and Prakash body built buses, i dont have any fear of buying or selling these. Only case of TVS Irizar bus i am a bit concerned. My only fear is that after 2 to 3 years when i have sell to this, will i get stuck. This is a fixed Glass A/c bus with the 35 seats.
