Busworld India Expo : Mumbai on 1st - 3rd February, 2013

Mumbai will play host to 'Busworld India 2013', an exhibition focused exclusively on the Bus & Coach industry, which will be held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre from 1st to 3rd February 2013. This will be the fifth edition of the exhibition to be held in the country.

Bus world though is a big event in Brusells, in India it has not attracted many manufacturers as it is not approved by SIAM. So there is always a reduced participation from many manufacturers. Instead this year SIAM, is planning for a seperate "Bus and Utility vehicle show" at India Expo Mart Greater Noida.
This is the location where the upcoming 12th Auto Expo is going to be held.

Anyone from T-BHP attending this event?

Scania is launching their "Scania Metrolink" inter-city coach at this event. This is reportedly their new model, that would also be launched in India. There was a photo on Facebook showing an important guy from Kallada Tours & Travels (Suresh Kallada Concern) posing with this bus, outside their office in Bangalore!

I also got to know from their Director (Kallada) that the bus is there at the Scania India HQ. A banner about Scania's launch is up on the Scania India website.
