The month of April generally is welcomed, not because of the sweltering heat, but because it ushers in a new year (financial of course!). With a new year comes the good feeling of starting anew with vigour and a fresh mind.
But thanks to a damp squib budget and overall negative sentiment in the market, the Auto Industry still wishes for a new start to this new year.

In a nutshell:
1) Diesel prices still not coming down.
2) Interest rates still not coming down phenomenally
3) Consumption of goods not increasing healthily

The immediate impact of the above factors can be seen in the CV sales with a saving grace of being a positive growth YoY of 1.66% A booster shot is definitely needed.

Thanks for the chart, any data on Bharat Benz and MAN sales numbers?
Also, if possible, try to add Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Isuzu and Corona buses.

All the info found on the net will find its way in the chart. BB, a brand conscious company, does not share its sales as they think it will affect their bargaining power. As far as MAN is considered, their sales dont make a dent anywhere. However if I find the nos somewhere will try to include.
Buses is a grey area for me! Help me out there for sure.
