While jogging yesteday, I found this truck outside ARAI gates, waiting for an entry into the campus. I am not sure if this is already available in India, but it was there for some test; as is evident from what is printed on the door.

Also it looked to be LHD version, but the glass was too dark to identify it correctly. Is this a cab for a long haul trailer? Also why is everything stripped down around the grille and headlights?

The 2 photos actually maybe didn't warrant a new thread, but then I couldn't find anything similar.

One clue that it is LHD are the extra mirrors, one above the right side door and the other above the windscreen, for the driver to look at clearances on the right and the front side.

That seems to be the latest FH Series 420 if I am not mistaken. I have never seen one on the road here in India before. It was either there for homologation purposes (for the Indian market) or for potential exports, considering it was LHD.

And I guess nobody drives with a big paper sticked right in front of you (1st pic).

Wiper position is for LHD. Rear air suspension and front tire size is 385/65/22.5. Most probably a direct import.
