This is an upcoming three-wheeler from Atul Auto. It has rear doors and upmarket interiors (compared to other three-wheelers).

Kudos to you Aditya for finding informative details outs of almost nothing!

Its high time the three wheeler industry bring out something revolutionary and new. Only novelty here is the music system which is found in plenty in Atuls in Gurgaon.

Detailed coverage again. Most of the info was news to me.

I was hoping that there would be some revolutionary change in the design of the Auto. We have been struggling with Auto' drivers who barely have any idea of the traffic just due to the awkwardly positioned ORVM (thanks to the unconventional design of the vehicle).

The Magic IRIS, or may be Bajaj RE could be the solution but I think they are not as affordable like the normal autorikshaws.

Thanks for sharing. Normally don't get to see coverage from these small companies.

I read somewhere about Mr Rahul Bajaj telling that they are not participating because it costs at least 5 Crore and he felt it was not worth it. Considering that, what would be the incentive for the smaller manufacturers like Atul to participate. They don't have any eye catching products and in the midst of all the big shot guys, I doubt if they get extensive coverage.

Keeping up with the times having in-built USB phone chargers, music systems, etc.

On paper the products from Atul auto and other smaller three wheeler makers seem to be as good if not better than the big two - Bajaj and TVS.

Wonder why do they not sell in respectable numbers in the big urban markets but get relegated to some regional pockets. Is there something more to it than marketing muscle?

In fact Atul Auto sells more than twice the no of three wheelers sold by TVS in the domestic market, after Bajaj, Piaggio and M&M (TVS is mainly exporting from here).
Also the only three wheeler co. which is growing in otherwise declining domestic market, that too when they are pre-dominantly a regional player.
