Spotted! Tata Super Ace facelift & Magna Bus

A test fleet of Tata commercial vehicles doing rounds around around pune. spotted here is the Super Ace facelift. The interior of the Super Ace facelift is similar to the Ultra truck series interior but with Round AC vents. Also spotted a new Marcopolo bus which i think it is not on sale in India right now.

That's a great find. Its the Marcopolo Paradiso coach that is planned for manufacture in their Dharwad plant. This looks like a Marcopolo Paradiso design on a regular Tata front engine chassis with two axles, and not the 3 axle rear engine integral coach that Tata has already readied to take on the likes of Volvo and Scania

The bus is the MAGNA series (Front Engine), Paradiso is planned to be launched later during the year (from public news).

That's Magna and Ace Mint. Super Ace was phased out due to power train issues and a detuned version was launched and that was Ace Mint.

Starting of last year Tata showcased Magna, when we visited their plant. Its now around 2 yrs, Magna as a concept is shown and no idea when it will be available for sale. The Major change is only body and it retains the same 1618 chassis. The pics are available in net for sometime from now.

Marcopolo Paradiso is now 4 yrs since it was showcased and there is no clue of its launch yet. IMO, Tata may not launch it till April 17, as BS4 norms are kicked in from April.

Spotted the same vehicle again. However i am not sure if it is a Super Ace / Ace Mint facelift or regular Ace facelift.

Super Ace Mini has independent front suspension whereas the vehicle in the pics has rigid front axle as in normal Ace or Ace Mega.

The new Tata CV cabin looks wider than the present Ace but tyre sizes and axle configurations look similar to the Ace. So is this a facelift to overcome the one deficiency the Ace had, that of a narrow cabin compared to Mahindra SCVs?
