Tata will have to offer 4x4 version in India, if it wants to compete with mahindra gateway..... The bed will be long in the single cab version, crew cab will be short.

You can use a bed extender.

Is bed extender legal in India? If one wants to transport a motorcycle like Rtech than it will be on some public road...... and Police you know.
Cause anything longer than the bed of a truck is illegal in India or one has to have special permits from the RTO of than particular state, and that to is hard to get and/or no use when one is stoped by the cops[bribe]......

Was on the way back to goa from pune [below NDA road fly over] in a friends octy 1.9tdi...doing 95-100 kmph and a test vehicle in green colour single cab just over took us and vanished, could not catch it... partly because of the speed it was at and partly due to the driver in the truck was quit good at handling the truck in that traffic....

IMO it needs a good chrome bull bar,and a bonnet scoop to make it sportier.tata has realy come up with a decent pickup here.unlike its earlier version which was distinctly a commercial vehicle.

Stunning !! cannot believe this is from a certain TATA. Mahindra and Tata are certainly doing India proud.

Something tells me (maybe one of earlier Tushky's spyshots) that there is also a lower version of this. Shouldn't Xenon have been out by now?

TelcoLine 4x4

I have one of these ( Telco Line 4 x 4 dual cab ) Green Colour with a winch ! It sure is a nice drive - bumpy at times - too big for city driving. Am looking at getting this modified - in Pune or Bangalore - please post suggestions.

I am not sure which one you are referring to. I have bought this 2 years ago - through Tata - it was used for testing here - is a Telcoline 4 x4 - with A/C - dual cab - it is the same as being sold in Middle East and South African Markets - doing very well in these markets. I had a tough time getting it registered - have successfully done this.

I am a new member here - great site - brilliant. Cheers !
