Mahindra has entered the road construction equipment segment with its RoadMaster G75 motor grader.

The motor grader is built for small and medium road construction applications and more specifically to aid spreading and grading. It is powered by a 79 BHP DiTEC diesel engine and comes with a 3-meter wide blade, which is claimed to be 33% better at grading operations than conventional motor graders. It is being manufactured at Mahindra's Chakan plant.

The RoadMaster G75 has been designed with operator comfort in mind and uses Mahindra's DiGiSENSE telematics technology. It was designed and developed in India after understanding the needs of the Indian road contractors.

The RoadMaster G75 comes with a 1 year / unlimited hours warranty. According to the company, the machine has undergone over 6,000 hours of testing in real world scenarios.

Mahindra construction equipment website: http://mahindraconstructionequipment.com

Looks like they have Backhoe Loaders too, including one variant with 4WD! I wonder if this has something to do with their "SUV DNA"

Mahindra is proud to have the Mahindra EarthMaster 4WD Backhoe Loader, a revolutionary machine that has set new standards in the 4 wheel drive Backhoe Loader category and take export market by storm. Mahindra EarthMaster 4WD is a substantially more superior machine, with greater reliability, dramatically less maintenance, better operational kinematics and dynamics with a phenomenal fuel efficiency

Mahindra construction equipment have opened their office at the old Indimotard place, near Whitefield. Indimotard is now moved to a smaller facility next door, in the same line.

Saw couple of backhoe loaders parked there when I went to Indimotard last time.

Mahindra's back-hoe is not a new product, they are having them since > 5 years.
Feedback is not very positive and sold in very small numbers in past.
