Isuzu D-Max offered with 3 years / 1 lakh km maintenance pack

Isuzu has launched D-Serve - a 3 years / 1,00,000 km free periodic maintenance package for the D-Max Regular Cab model. The offer is available for a limited period on vehicles purchased during the months of September and October 2018.

The D-Serve scheme covers all maintenance costs for 3 years / 1,00,000 km (whichever is earlier). This includes spare parts for preventive maintenance, lubricants, labour costs and certain wear & tear components. The package does not cover repairs related to accidental damage. The offer is valid till October 31, 2018.

The Isuzu D-Max Regular Cab is available in flat-deck and cab-chassis variants. It has a payload capacity of 1,155 kg / 1,200 kg, while the gross vehicle weight (GVW) is 2,850 kg. It is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine which produces 78 BHP @ 3,800 rpm and a peak torque of 176 Nm @ 1,800-2,400 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Very cool way of roping in commercial owners who always have an eye on the operational / maintenance costs. These guys easily do 1 lakh km in 3 years, so it is a big carrot.

A rare 'inspired' marketing move by Isuzu.

In Austrailia, Mazda, Ford and some others are offering 5 years unlimited kilometre warranty across the products.

I would really love something like that come to India. Would be a boon to commercial vehicle owners.

This is available only for the regular cab version with 8 feet cargo deck variant as shown in the opening post picture for a limited period only (upto October 31st I believe).

The below parts will be eligible for replacement in the 3 years or 1 lakhs duration (whichever is earlier)

1. Clutch plates - 2 times
2. Front Brake pad kit - 3 times
3. Front disc rotors - 1 time
4. Rear brake shoes - 2 times

Apart from these, Periodic Maintenance labour, parts and consumables will be free.

All these at no extra cost and the customer pays only the on road price.

With all offers, disclaimer is "applicable for normal condition operations".
