Ashok Leyland's Circuit-F electric bus has been caught testing on public roads. The bus looks similar to the Circuit-S, which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.
"S" in Circuit-S implies "Swappable" battery. Therefore, "F" in the name Circuit-F suggests that it might have a "Fixed" battery. The Circuit-F has triple pod headlamps and tail lamps and is finished in a blue and white livery. Unlike the Circuit-S, the Circuit-F has a mesh-type rear fascia. The bus also has sliding passenger windows which suggests that it is the non-AC variant.
The Circuit-S bus ranges from 9-12 meters in length with a seating capacity of 25 to 35. The bus is propelled using an AC motor coupled with a 2-speed automatic transmission. It comes equipped with a swappable lithium-ion battery pack that is housed at the rear of the vehicle and has a maximum range of 50 km on a single charge. Recharging the battery requires 1-2 hours on fast charger or 8 hours on a regular charger.
Ashok Leyland has collaborated with Sun Mobility to develop these electric buses. Details about the Circuit-F model are currently unknown.

Not sure if this is the right thread to put this information at; however one of my friends sent the below pic of a fully electric bus being tested in Pune.

It certainly is not the right thread, because this is an Olectra-BYD (formerly Goldstone-BYD) bus and not Ashok Leyland Circuit :)
Spotted this AL bus being piggy backed towards Hosur from Krishnagiri on the highway. Looks like an electric which I guessed it was because of the graphics on the body.

It's probably headed to Ahmedabad, for the BRTS operated by AJL. AL had won the tender to supply 50 electric buses to AJL.
