Same here, my exams are just around the corner so I cannot go to BusWorld.

By the way, how many of you guys out here are seriously interested in buses??? I simply love buses.

I don't know why but after the launch of the Volvo B7R, I have developed a sudden interest in buses. My interest for this bus is so high, that I am ready to travel by the Volvo B7R for infinite number of kilometres. It's great fun to see Volvos racing past "fast" cars.

Let me come back to the topic:
Buses I would love to see in this expo.. (I don't know if they are there at the expo or not)
1) All Volvo buses. (I only know that the B7R LE is there)
2) Tata Hispano Globus
3) All versions of the Tata Starbus (low floor / ultra floor type)
4) Ashok Leyland Intercentury Luxura
5) Mercedes range of buses
6) The rear-engined unidentified bus which was clicked by TeamBHPian Sajo in the thread "Which is this new bus?"
7) Buses from Tata-Daewoo range, if any

Yes, they are ATs. The theatre arrangement is because they are rear-engined.

BusWorld Expo

The only attraction at the Expo were the two Volvo's. Everything else are just accessories or services related to buses. The Volvo driver was giving a brief summary of the features to those who were interested in the bus. The red Volvo bus is meant for daily public transport (BEST). They are already running in Bangalore. It resembles the Starbus in design, but has MUCH better and wider doors (at least they seemed).

Another company called Cerita displayed two other buses. From a distance these buses looked beautiful, but when you come close you'll notice the poor quality of the exteriors and the interiors.

Apart from these were the Force, TATA, Swaraj Mazda and Ruby buses.

Oh yes, and another attraction was a Yamaha Thunderace 1000 that was displayed by "Schumi India" - a dealer for Koni spares.

The Expo is more of a business meeting. Most stalls were discussing with their clients and/or prospective buyers of their services.

I love to be there, but i cant. i love buses too, specially these low floor, powerful, noiseless engined buses. i hope there is some sort of a revolution in this segment. TATA & Leyland have had their way for far too long.
