Its no competition for Volvo. The quality is very poor and makes a lot of noise compared to a Volvo.

It is a rear engine bus, there is a big hatch door in the back and no air intake in the front.

The one on the left seems to be the luggage compartment while one on the right seems to be the engine access panel.

The two buses from Cerita produce 180 and 298bhp. It seems they are planning to introduce 20 low-floor buses for BEST.

You spoke to the driver?? Cool.. Was it the sikh man accompanying the bus or the ARAI driver?

Nice set of pics.. Sajo and Tushky !!
The rear light cluster looks really nice...
Looks wise, this is good competition for the Volvo. Lets c how it actually fares.

The B7Rs which BMTC owns costs around 75 lakhs... how much do u think these could cost? If BEST is getting these buses, it would be a welcome change from the usual rickety buses plying as public transport.

Alright, I take back my words about the bus sounding silent and smooth. Today I heard it being revved from half a kilometre away! Not kidding! Okay, so the place was somewhat silent and all, but I still thought it was much nearer than it actually was.
