Yes, Correct it was Swaraj Mazda with AC, remember taking it once, almost no one was getting into it as it was priced high and AC also was not working properly.

Then eventually scrapped it, but now with metro, this will be ideal solution for last mile connectivity

I do hope they get the other crucial half of the equation right - frequency. With smaller buses, you need a much higher frequency. It will take some time to catch on, the first few months might see buses run below capacity, but BEST should focus on establishing in the minds of users that these buses are reliable and there will be one every 'x' minutes. Then it will really catch on.

Unfortunately, a lot of operators will either reduce frequency or scrap the service altogether if the initial patronage is low. Hope BEST doesn't.
