BharatBenz truck sales cross 1 lakh unit mark

BharatBenz has reached a new sales milestone. The company claims to have sold over 1 lakh trucks within 8 years since production began in 2012.

Daimler Buses has sold more than 4,500 BharatBenz buses in India since the start of operations in 2015.

Since 2012, the company has exported more than 30,000 vehicles under the BharatBenz, Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and FUSO brands to more than 50 international markets. The company has also exported 13 crore parts to other plants within the Daimler Truck production network since 2014.

The BharatBenz trucks range in India includes the MDT (10-16 tonnes), HDT R (28-42 tonnes), HDT C (19-35 tonnes) and HDT T (40-55 tones). The brand's bus range include a school bus, staff bus and the 1624 chassis.
