Good to see such services being made available into our country. Although it might not be feasible for everyone financially, nice to see such an option has been introduced.

1. Any idea if medical insurance covers such expenses ? Do such packages exists in the west, say like the US or where such air ambulances operate. With separate add-
on in the insurance premium ?

2. I have seen various news articles on organs/hearts for donor transplant being lifted via helicopter within my state (Kerala). Does the patient bear the expense ? how does it work out ?
