What a timing of the thread, my distant family owns Chevrolet CMP 15 and this is been with them since 1970's. I have seen this truck all my childhood and lots of memories. In recent past truck was not in working condition. Just yesterday I saw a post from uncle the Chevy is rebuilt and up and running.

I hope and pray that all members are safe from Corona. Today I was going through Team-BHP as I do once a day, and I found out this very interesting thread - vehicles used by the defence forces. And then I saw a photograph and I couldn't believe my eyes, it is my father in the picture.



He was awarded SM by the great Manikshaw after the 1971 war. I have seen the original photo somewhere, it's been very long:
