Super Vasuki, the longest & heaviest freight train in India

Hey folks,

ICYMI
Quote:
As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Indian Railways' South Central Railway (SERC) ran the Super Vasuki freight train with 295 loaded wagons on the historic event of India’s 76th Independence Day.
Quote:
The 3.5 km long train with 295 loaded wagons and powered by six locos carried a total load of nearly 27,000 tonnes of coal making it the highest fuel transportation ever carried by the Indian Railways in a single train arrangement.

Reportedly, the total amount of coal carried by this train is enough to fire 3000 MW of power plant for a full day which accounts for more than thrice the capacity of the existing railway that carries about 9,000 tonnes of coal in a single journey.
Couple of videos of the train:

Can the experts comment on the strength of the guard wagons especially in such pentahaul combinations? Won't the huge forces overcome them as they are relatively lightly built?

Apologies, wagons on the mind. Meant the guard or brake vans at the end of each of the trains which were joined together.

Old thread that I came across.

To your question, if you note the formation of the train the Brake vans in this train are spread across at the end of a normal sized rake followed by a Locomotive. So in essence the Loco behind the brake van is bearing the load for the rear wagons and not stressing the brake van.
