Renault Trucks has unveiled the models of its heavy-duty all-electric range. The Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C, which are the first to bear the manufacturer's new logo, will be produced in series at the Renault Trucks factory in Bourg-en-Bresse from 2023. They are already available for pre-order.

Renault Trucks is now the only company to provide an electric mobility offer for all uses: from a 650 kg cargo bike to a 44 t electric tractor and construction truck, the design of which it is now revealing.

First of all, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C have the trademark graphic signature of the brand's electric trucks: blue hubcaps and vertical stripe on the sides of the vehicle and the Renault Trucks E-Tech badge at the front. They are also fitted with a new Emblem plate in blue plexiglass.

To increase safety, the front of the vehicles has been brought forward by 115 mm and radars have been placed on the sides. The chassis is also equipped with a retractable step which maximises the space dedicated to the batteries.

As for the completely revised front panel, Renault Trucks' designers have drawn their inspiration from the world of electronic music, with a pattern reminiscent of an equaliser. To reinforce this electromechanical effect, the front of the vehicles is fully painted.

Finally, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C feature the brand's new logo with updated features. Placed on the front panel, the brushed aluminium diamond on a shiny black background gives the vehicles a modern and sophisticated look.

Tesla’s Pepsi Semis Lose Out to Coke’s Electric Renault Trucks

Renault Trucks has helped Coca-Cola beat Pepsi and Tesla Inc. to the punch on electric deliveries.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Plc, the biggest bottler of the soft drink by revenue, on Thursday will start using battery trucks from the Volvo AB-owned brand for local trips in Belgium. Tesla is due to deliver its first Semis to PepsiCo Inc. on Dec. 1 -- five years after Elon Musk showed off prototypes and began taking deposits.

Coca-Cola will now make local deliveries in Belgium with 30 electric Renault Trucks vehicles.

The first five Renault Trucks E-tech D and D Wide will go out in the Antwerp area today, and other trucks will arrive in the coming months at the manufacturing and distribution sites in Ghent and Chaudfontaine in Belgium.

Coca-Cola chose a configuration allowing Renault Truck's electric vehicles to cover 200 km daily, which is more than enough for 40% of CCEP's current local delivery routes. Each truck has an on-site charging station to fully recharge the battery overnight. These charging stations are powered by 100% green energy generated at the site.

Soft drink giant Coca-Cola has unveiled a battery-powered Renault truck ahead of the launch of Pepsi from Tesla Semi. Pepsi is scheduled to start its delivery operations with Tesla Semi on December 1.

Renault Trucks, the manufacturer of the new Coke delivery truck previously mocked Tesla's Elon Musk about the launch of the Semi. While Pepsi is setting up its Megacharger stations, Coca-Cola has started operations with its new electric trucks in Belgium.

The two remote EV trucks by Renault and Tesla mark their entry into the heavy-duty end of the EV industry. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has made several broken promises regarding the release of the Semi since 2017. However, this year it is expected to debut with 15 trucks to its first customer Pepsi on December 1.

The Renault truck released to Coca-Cola in Belgium is an E-Tech D et D Wide model with a likely shorter range than the Tesla Semi. Renault's electric rig will be deployed for remote delivery by Coke. This model was specifically designed to match Coca-Cola's shipping logistics data, according to Renault Trucks.
