Thanks for sharing. Close-up shots of those specification sheets would have been nice. JBM electric bus lineup is more exciting than Maruti Suzuki's first-day lineup.

The intercity bus is definitely required for the congested traffic of new Delhi.

The abuse friendly Tata MarcoPolo that bears the brunt of crawling traffic conditions, surmounting innumerable flyover's of Delhi, seldom overloaded, sometimes lopsided thanks to lack of maintenance, and to top it all: CNG powered which makes it gasping for air in sweltering heat of summer, not to forget the AC toggle switching that is performed by driver's of the red colored one's on Delhi roads. How will the intercity JBM buses will cope the above standard template of abuses--lets take the CNG part out of the equation-- time will tell. I have rarely seen JBM buses on Delhi roads, there numbers are few and far between. I would love to know how they will cope with the above set of abuses, even if lets say 30-40 percent of current strength is replaced with JBM buses. How long would the air suspension of these buses will cope with the overloading conditions?

School buses should have seat belts for all seats, not only for the back row seats. Common sense in my humble opinion.
It's a shame that auto maker don't take any safety initiative unless mandated by the Govt.

I have seen alot of JBM electric buses around Delhi. They aren’t as present in east and west delhi but, they’re running in North and South Delhi in quite big numbers. The govt has planned more swaps gradually. More because of availability issues rather than budget issues. I think by 2024 end, all buses may become electric.

Navi Mumbai transport undertaking has 150+ JBM buses, a mix of 12 & 9 meter variants. They are doing quite well.

That would be awesome. A city like New Delhi definitely needs one less mass mover utilizing CNG.

Great. In my last visit to Himachal Pradesh. I saw two JBM electric buses on route. I was astounded by the state govt. decision to include them in their fleet in this mountainous state.

It seems state governments are making themselves increasing open to the prospect of relying on electric buses from JBM. Brighter prospects for JBM. It seems they don't have any competitor in Indian market.

However, how long they will continue to shine under the weight of innumerable abuses only time will tell.
