Spotted- DC's new mini Bus

Why does it display "on test"? Does that give out indications that sighting it is a scoop?

Methinks it makes DC feel good, like he is now in the same league as Tata or Mahindra. But hey, no red plates.

It was the AM-V8 that DC built for Aston Martin. And the design was from Aston Martin itself. He just "built" it. But the work done was amazing and thats why they chose him.

nope. these snaps are from pune. but was it exactly same bus??

Saw the SAME bus in Chennai yday - parked near a party workers house, two streets from my place. GJ Pates et al. In real life- the bus looked extremly tacky! :(

gordon it was a db7 that was given to DC as a doner car and only parameters were given to make the other car. i have seen designs that were made for the car. we had also seen the car in its essential stages at his workshop when it was being made. moulds etc. i am quite sure that it was the vanquish.

Its the same bus and its parked in the same locality i live in! It also has the same GJ(Gujarat) registration! I see it every time i pass on that street, may be the person living there must have bought it, i am not sure though.

I will get pics if i can but i am sure its the Vehicles.

he had the design brief and specs,all he had to do was built the prototype.its like somebody hnding you a blueprint and a set of lego,and asking you to build the car...."left nut goes in the right side" etc etc.his fit and finish levels are extremely high.
you shouldsee the corporate buses with conference rooms that he builds.amazing interiors with aircraft style recliners,dvd satnav,optic fibre cabling,wifi on the move etc.

DC had an attempt at regular buses as well, one which was wider at the top than at the bottom....Looked odd-ball, never took off...

Gordon is right. The prototype built was indeed for the Aston V8 Vantage, not the Vanquish
