Isuzu pickup showcased at Auto Expo. When will it be launched?

At the Auto Expo I had seen this Isuzu pickup at the Swaraj Mazda stall. They spoke of a Rs 15 lac price for a crew cab with 4x4. Does anyone know when this is being launched?

IMO this is too high-ended a product to justify Indian manufacturing or even assembly. And if it's a CBU, the landed Indian price will take it further out-of-bounds.

A few pics that I took:

what is so high-end about it?

its a regular truck with a ladder chassi. Yes it is nice, but a honda civic made in gurgaon has more technology involved.

When we enquired about the same, we were clearly told that it won't be launched in India.
Swaraj Mazda doesn't have any tieups with Isuzu I think.

I spoke to the local Swaraj Mazda office and they said they'll get back on the launch details. Swaraj has apparently launched other Isuzu products (small bus I think) and so there is some tie up.

Whats more important is that they launch the SUV version of the pickup called MU-7 and already on sale in Thailand. Sort of like Xenon-Grande strategy.

Isuzu is owned by GM so GM probably will have say in this. I wonder why Swaraj would launch this as opposed to Chaewoo, since Chaewoo already sells the Isuzu pather as the Tavera.

Isuzu is not owned by GM anymore, that ended last year although they have a few joint projects.

Isuzu is now buddies with Toyota and helping them out with diesel engine technology.

Isuzu is coming to India, with Swaraj Mazada and have just launched Buses as well as medium commercial vehicles. So this may be a possibility but only after the Xenon is launched [told by a good friend working for the company].
The top end may not come in, but there may be a commercial version on the line of 207DI. same looks as the one at expo but low spec[or rather no spec]
