Please credit photographs to its owner - irrespective of whether you googled it or not.

Plus, what is the factor that "evokes" laughter in you in the image? (Just out of curiosity).

From 10 PM to 11:50 PM there were 15 Mangalore buses.
And the last one at 11:50 PM was a ACGL bus.
Most of the others were Super delux

Man, Now I want to see the pics of those old buses too! A lot of confusion on Karnataka and Kerala transport corporations.
I remember the old days when I was a fan of TATA bus looks and my elder brother of AL.

Oh, my bad!!

May be
Since we are talking about buses and I traveled a lot within Karnataka, TN, Kerala and Andhra between 2000-2005, the only bus which made me smile was from some private transport company by name "Shaheen Travels" who had a King Long bus running between Coimbatore to Kalpakkam. This bus was divided into 2 sections and had a partition with door. The front section had total 8 seats, 4 on each side (1+1) and the back section which was on the other side of partition was a normal 2+2 section like in Volvo.

This bus had
1. Feather touch A/C controls for each passenger.
2. Had a CRT TV like in Volvo but it was not like a normal CRT TV. There were no controls on the TV and all the controls were on the dash. TV had King Long written on it.
3. Even the straps on the curtains had King Long written.
4. The bus was slightly wider then Volvo

Anyone remember this bus?

I remember the super deluxe. I used to travel frequently between Mangalore and Bangalore.

There was also the Semi Deluxe which in my (and my family's opinion) had better seat comfort than the super deluxe. Will try to hunt for the pics.

Even i have been literally digging into Google on a daily basis to get those super delux bus photos. As far as my knowledge goes, the super delux buses from the Mangalore bus depot got phased out from the Mangalore-Bangalore route and diverted to short journey routes like Mangalore - Bantwal,Puttur & Dharmastala routes. They went on remodifying with different colours and shapes whenever it met with an accident.

Yup, remember these buses.
They used to run everynight at half an hour frequency from Mangalore to BLR. I had done a lot of Udipi-BLR and BLR-Mysore in these buses.

@Lohith, cant help but smile on reading your post. Only on TBHP can you find nuts like us who go after pics of busses, and even ask others to join in the hunt.

Srishiva, that's why we are using the different names KaSRTC and KeSRTC to differentiate between the two.
