Some images from Kolkata (Smashed Ambassador), Nagpur (Landmaster), Delhi IGI Airport and Bangalore Airport (Airport Road). Note the Loganisation of the new Bangalore Airport (inaugurated 23rd May 2008). Another friend here has also posted Renault Logan taxi pictures from Bangalore.

Mumbai Taxi

This was the last SUPER SELECT (Very good condition) Black and Yellow Mumbai Taxi which has recently gone off the road after the governments order to de-commision 25 year old cabs here.

I just love the exhaust note of Padminis. There have been so many occasions when I have actually turned my head on hearing their exhaust notes thinking that some sportscar passed by only to realise that it was a taxi. lol

Have you heard of new Indigo Marina Meru Cabs in Bangalore. IMO they have outnumbered the Logan around the airport(new) road. Check out this pic.

Guys that particular super select is gone off the road temporarily. Its picked up by a collector whos bearing no pains to bring her back to originality. Hang on. A few select Bhpians were responsible for saving her, Ronny included. God bless all you guys!!

IMHO, The Logan and the Indigo Marina make the best taxis. The reason being, Passenger comfort. They are far superior in the luggage hauling capabilities as compared to the other cars and they are "CHEAP to RUN & MAINTAIN". And yes, Come with Diesel power plant.

I found this in ooty, its in pretty broken down shape. No tyres, but most of internal parts seemed to be intact. Did not have a detailed look as the car behind me was honking to let him pass.
