Sanjay Dutt gets a Rs 3-crore bus for poll campaign

i thought 3 grand was 3000!! oh my god, did inflation change things so drastically in the 6 days i was not in mumbai :-)
kidding, yea, but 3 crores is our money. we the tax payers. this will go down the drain

had seen this mammoth bus in Bandra area some days ago.. looks ugly

Had been to Pune to meet DC for an official purpose. Happened to come across an election campaign bus being designed and fabricated. Took a peek into the bus and it was awesome. You enter and immediately after the driver seat are 2 seats for the body guards. This was followed by a dining cum meeting area that had a conference table. This was followed by a bedroom with a reclinable seat and TV. Towards the rear end of the bus was a Hi tech toilet
Unfortunately I was not allowed to click pictures and hence cant upload any.

DC a decade ago was a ray of hope in a malnourished car industry. I used to be excited to see their prototypes on each Auto India issue. This reached a pinnacle when they did the Aston prototype for then owners Ford.
But since then its been downhill, their recent creations mostly revolve around just making a different/exclusive (read ugly) modification to existing cars rather than being creative.
