bad foundations, untended potholes and water that stagnates in these potholes causing exponentially more damage.

To add to that bad materials used, unscheduled and careless digging up, and poor maintenance are the worst culprits, IMO.

in our area, tipper lories are hated. they ruin all the roads !

The roads should have a proper load rating unless that happens bad roads will remain.

Have you guys noticed these new roads made up of blocks Or should I say Road Blocks. Our area has been almost fully covered by these blocks.

I don't think they will be able to handle all those heavy trucks.

Brother, you kidding right! The roads in Pune tend to get dug up the very next day after being laid out.
The heavy duty trucks & other vehicles actually help smoothen out the debris that is thrown in carelessly in an effort to fill up the potholes.
