Re: The Light and Small Commercial Vehicle Thread

Its clear AL have not spent a lot of time on the design of this vehicle. When you compare this with the nissan, they are miles apart on the design front. Even the TATA's have done a decent job with the Ace.
Anyways in the Indian market, buyers look more at the practicality than the design.

Cheers.

After seeing the Mahindra Geo's sales nos, Manufacturers might have thought the design is not important anymore, and why waste money? Let us hope the 407 replacement will be a good looking one....

Re: The Light and Small Commercial Vehicle Thread

Yes, I would agree with Mr. Boss here. It would look cool without the bonnet. Alas, that is not going to happen.

Re: The Light and Small Commercial Vehicle Thread

I found this link, which has so called Force Motors LCV

Spied - Force Motors LCV in Pune? | Indian Autos blog

I feel that force motors would take a long time to reach here. I can see a Bajaj in this.

Can any one support me on this..

Force would do it much faster. Remember they were the first entrants in the segment - their "Autoriksha" was a hit of those times - they even today dominate the "tom-tom" market: the share-rickshaw market.

Force already has a four-wheeled LCV - which, according to the article, is named "Trump". SO what Force is bringing is a smaller version of the Trump. They'd bring it out much faster than anybody else.

Re: The Light and Small Commercial Vehicle Thread

^^^ Are you sure it's the LCV? Bajaj simply said they have plans of producing an LCV in partnership with Renault, and nothing beyond was said about the LCV, unlike the 2500$ car

We have to see the video, rather than listening to it. Please pay attention to only the VIDEO not the audio.

Maybe the longish nose is to give a feeling of safety as a crumple zone.
I believe Mr.Boss has given us the original photo of the Dost before it was made a Ghost by AL.
