We have the LHB coaches(German collaboration) which were introduced many years ago to do duty on Rajdhani's and Shatabdi's. They are much more modern compared to these designs and run higher speeds in more comfort.

They were initially made as only AC coaches, but now available as non-AC as well. It won't be long since all the coaches that roll out will be of this design.

First one shows twin WDM3d's hauling freight.
Second one shows a Wdp4 and twin Wdm3a's going to Yeshwantpur for duties.
The third one are twin Wdg4's hauling freight to the yard nearby.

Started in 1930, country's first super-fast train, the iconic Deccan Queen Express — which connects Pune with Mumbai — celebrated its 85th birthday, last week.

Former President Pratiba Patil, in the presence of Pune railway station manager Suneel Kamthan and president of Pune railway pravasi group Harsha Shah, cut the cake to celebrate the occasion.

A short video I took of a 16 cylinder , 3100bhp WDM3a class locomotive.
It took a while to crank after watching the pilot flipping many switches and priming the engine.

5-'Chammundi'- The recovery crane of SWR hauled by a Kazipet WDM3a
