Hi Team bhpians i had a chance to drive the TATA 207 this weekend.Actually we had to shift some articles and we were looking for a auto but incidentally my dads friend had a 207 which was being used for his office and he offered to send it to us with driver.
Last minute there was a problem as the driver was on leave,i tried hiring call driver but all were busy due to vinayak charturthi. So then i decided to take over the drivers seat :D
Now the experience,Firstly it was an old vehicle (should be 1995-1998model) and was very very cramped. No power steering and AC was not working !
Though there was no PS it was pretty easy to drive ,only problem was the half steering ,so you cannot take a U turn just like that.
The seat cannot be adjusted ,and if pushed hard it would move 1 inch and the steering has tilt adjust.
The pick us was ok looking at its age and the max i did was 70kmhr
The steering was vague and to make it go straight i had to steer left to right constantly like the jeep in the song "Zindagi Ex Safar" - Andaaz
On the road i had full respect as every vehicle except lorry's gave way on seeing it in the RVM ,including the Call Taxi and Auto's
I will put across my exp in this thread later, now its time for some pics !

Even the gearing is same, for reverse you need to lift the gear nob a bit and put it is first gear (direction meant)
