That sounds strange. Eicher's collaboration is with Volvo while Nissan's is with Ashok Leyland.

Nissan Diesel is owned by Volvo and is now called UD Trucks, AL tie-up is with Nissan and there range is only LCV

The Tata Prima models mentioned, 2 models are alredy launched man, both the 2528K and 3128K are ready to be delivered. You can expect around 400 of these tippers despatched by this financial year. The two rigids may also get launched before March.

Also, the 3138K model is most likely to be launched with FIAT power, but the numbers will be seriously limited as the engines shall come in from China.

will the engines be supplied by Iveco?
But this was not speculated earlier.
I thought Cummins will only be the source

Yes, the original source was the ISMe series of Cummins, but now they are going ot be sourced from FIAT Powertrain Technologies. The 380hp and 420hp versions will be powered by the 10litre C10 engines and the 460hp and 500hp versions will get the 13litre C13 engines. These engines have just started to be assembled in China just about a month before the Prima trucks were launched in India.

Sir that's why I have mentioned the Prima Range as commercial launch which would mean that products will be given to customers and not only stage show or piloting of the vehicles.

To clarify to all:

Nissan Motors is a company which makes cars and LCV upti 7.5t and has a global alliance with Renault Cars called Renault Nissan. The car unit had a tie up with M&M earlier in India for Logan. The LCV unit has a tie up with ALL.

Nissan Diesel or UD trucks is owned by Volvo which makes trucks greater than 7.5t and similarly Renault Rrucks is also owned by Volvo.

Volvo cars is a seperate company owned by Geely of China.

Yes but I am mentioning, that it has already started to happen. Also all but one of the models you mention will be "commercially launched" within March, which is this Financial year itself.

That's the confusion, actually as I am used to calendar year working I post my information according to that. Sorry for the confusion.
