Re: At-home Tyre Change & Balancing - TyresNMore.com I had the pleasure of using tyresnmore a few months back, when the opportunity came to change the tyres in a friend's Range Rover Evoque. We were on a trip together when I discovered the 6 year, 50K old car was still running the imported Dunlop Grandtreks.
Front tyres were completely scrubbed. A sign that the tyres had never been rotated.
Rear tyres had lot of tread. Still they were 6 years old.
Research told me that this particular tyre size (225/65 R17) came OEM on just 2 vehicles in the country. The first gen RR Evoque (they've now switched to 18) and the second gen Honda CR-V. Neither was a sales craze. So no wonder my regular tyre store didn't stock the size. Range Rover said they could get the OEM tyres for 46K a piece!
Tyrensmore came to the rescue. They had this tyre in stock from 2 brands. They gave us a particularly good deal on the Goodyear Efficientgrip SUV tyre. Only catch was these tyres were H rated instead of the V rated Dunlop Grandtreks, which meant my friend's speeds were restricted to 210 kmph! Aww
The truck arrived in promised time. The fitting people were knowledgeable, and the tyres were balanced and fitted in record time. Overall a very good experience. |
