Product Sold: V-KOOL Sunfilm

What I like:

An authorized V-Kool outlet. Original sunfilm guaranteed.

Excellent installation. Sunfilm fitted as per VKool guidelines. Install is carried out in their indoor parking bay.

Well trained installers. Know their job well.

Clean premises. No chance of the interiors getting soiled.

Bill & 5 year warranty with each install.

Pricing: Economy range pricing is at par with other well known brands. Higher range is quite expensive.

What I have bought from them: Sunfilm for the Scorpio.

Thanks for the info L2D. Going by the specs of this shade, the rate is very competitive. I will consider V-Kool next time, thanks to you .

This is a great tip! Thanks a lot. I was looking for a place to get films done on my car.

Any comparative data on other brands (Llumar, 3M)? The car in question is a Santro (ZipPlus). How much of an expense am I looking at?

Cheers

@tsk13: I managed to squeeze some discount.

@EssYouWe: All these manufacturers are equally good with their products. Just check the total heat rejection and the shade of the film you intend to install. I got the H-50 shade, which is not as reflective as the K series. Perfect for my taste and looks good on my Scorp.

How much will a front windscreen with good heat resistance & 70% visibility cost ?

I guess installation is complimentary.

VKool guys suggested me to get the VK-70 film for the front glass. It has excellent heat resistance (they gave a demo using a halogen lamp) but very pricey. Quote given for Scorpio's front glass was 8K IIRC. Should be more expensive for cars with bigger windshield.

I remember him quoting 11K for Swift's front glass!

Thanks for sharing this review! I'm a big fan of V-Kool. Nice to see such a large outlet where the installation takes place inside the premises.

The 'where to get sun film from' dilema ended today. Visited this outlet and got VK 70 all around for my laura. Clean premises, no rush, professional and neat installers, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Thanks live2drive! Your review prompted me to drive all the way from Gurgaon!
