Hey, any news about this? That seems really interesting. Have you completed the project? Yes - connecting it to HL is practical too, given that one may not always use fogs.

Did you implement this?

I'm wondering - can today's very bright white LED strips in a water proof & washable avatar be installed for actual functional purpose. Instead of just visual appeal, I'm thinking if these can be installed under the car with a simple switch on the dashboard OR hooked to the door open sensor - that way we'll have very useful puddle lamps all around the car! Especially for today's favourite SUVs / C-SUVs and crossover hatchbacks with high GC - this might work really well. And can be implemented without any cuts and opening of the door inner panels.
