How much last it after pouring in AmbiPur empty refill, assuming it capacity is 5ml. Hope its not highly inflammable considering safety.

The Ambipur empty bottle can hold more than 15 ml and consumption is almost similar, I don't think there is any fire hazard as all perfumes are inflammable. As a precaution fill 5 ml at a time.

Any expert here better to confirm though.

Ind perfumes can get from detergent/soap manufacturer easily located surrounding the streets.

I tried a simpler method. Went to Cauvery showroom in Bangalore and brought a Rs 60 packet of sandalwood powder pack that contains 4 cloth covered sachet of sandalwood powder. Its 1 sachet last around 7-8 months. all you have to do is use high blower as soon as you enter the car to remove stale air. Take this packet out and dab it a bit in the center of you car and very fine mild sandal scent lingers in car for quite sometime. This is actually used as a deoderizer in cupboards in monsoon season, but i find it to be very effective and safe for the car and economic to.
If you love sandalwood smell then you can go for keeping a sandal wood stick as well but make sure you always keep the bill along in your car.

sprinkling powder stands really last long! If yes, can't we simply use strong talcum powder using in home:). This, I assume, similar to sparying sprays/deo which having impression few hours in compartment.

Guys,

Have bought Park avenue "Premium Eau De Cologne" Perfume, but don't have the container to put into (have lost it).
Is there any other way i can use this perfume in the car?

Thanks,
Ramki

has anyone tried using essential oils in ambi pur etc refills? i was thinking of using some peppermint oil - I am generally not satisfied with most of the ambi pur smells, and thinking of saving some cash :D

Yes. But be careful with the quantity. I just added half a bottle and the smell was way too much. Details here:

Oh I just love this idea of using Premium Eu De Cologne. Coincidentally, I dab a few drops of this on myself before my last round in the shower everyday. Love the smell. Reminds me of the good old days when you pass by a barber shop/salon. Nostalgic and refreshing.
