On the copper grease, it is something you should have it comes very handy. In brakes you should apply it on caliper bolts, caliper pin threads.. this prevents them seizing on you. You can also apply it at the back of the pad where it meets the caliper piston.

Just remember a little goes a long way.

I recommend this for its ease of application and brand [~1500 bucks] will last you many years
