DIY : Chrome Badge / Emblem / Monogram Restoration

Disclaimer
This is the review of a product developed by an ex-colleague, who quit his Consulting job and started his own Chemical company. I am in no way connected commercially to this company. The following review is based purely on my personal experience with the product.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, the chrome monogram and badges on my 7-year-old Nissan Micra were really beginning to look old and had lost their lustre. There was some pitting as well and I was really not keen on spending '000s on professional restoration and everything.
Late 2019, one of my colleagues had quit his consulting job and had started his own chemical company. I knew he was manufacturing cleaning solutions for domestic and commercial applications but was unaware that he had started making products for vehicles too! His recent post on LinkedIn caught my attention and that's when I logged in to his company's page www.agrid.in

They have a good range of DIY products aimed at cleaning / sanitizing / shampooing and so on. I thought - why not give it a shot and I ordered the Chrome Polish. Our man personally delivered it to my apartment in Chennai - being a senior ex-colleague at work definitely helped

Tried my hand at cleaning this morning and the results were fantastic!
Very simple 4 step process:
1. Squeeze a couple drops of Chrome Polish and apply evenly on affected area. You can use your finger or an old toothbrush for application.
2. Allow to settle for 20-30 seconds.
3. Rub with a dry cloth.
4. Rinse well after use.

What is the product and where can you buy?

At just Rs.100 for a 50ml bottle, this is great value for money. I applied this on 2 of my cars this morning and have probably used about 15ml. I think the whole bottle can last for 4-5 cars. Not bad at all for just Rs.100!
The best part - it is so easy to use - took me all of 30 minutes to apply on 2 cars across all chrome areas.

Rating
Product - 10/10
Ease of application - 10/10
Results - 9/10
Value for money - 10/10

I will let the pictures to the talking.

Thanks for sharing this. I have used a similar a product BRITE-O (which is a product from Pidilite) and it also works well as Chrome polish. They have mentioned Brass, Copper, Chrome & Silver on the tube. It also works well on bathroom fittings having chrome finish.

I have ordered this for my Fascino and Nexon. I'll update the results once I get my hands on the product.
