They've already changed the delivery date 4 times. How long did it take them to deliver your package?
The same thing happened with me.. I finally got it about a month after i placed the order. In Bombay.

Removed the OEM Mount on the Fiat Punto to find that the bracket varies by about 2mm. Need to spend some time to shave the bracket and Mount the mirror. Haven't got down to it yet.

But it's real VFM with regard to something like this. Esp with regard to minor upgrades that can make driving a whole nicer experience..

Extremely cost effective.
Any idea if this can be fitted in Sonet and Tiago?
I can't do DIY but will get it done from outside if this is compatible.

Will confirm for Tiago shortly. Give me some time. A couple of friends have Tiagos.

Tiago mount is very different from Maruti/Honda/Toyota. It is a inverted U mount. I hope you come up with some workaround for Tiago so that I can fit it on mine.

I've been thinking of trying this on my Tiago jtp too. The mounts are a problem. Would love to see it work for us Tata brethren too.

Is this a direct fit on brio?
If the product is from Honda, does it fit all products without any additional mounts?

Brio/Amaze owners, please advise!

Replaced the manual IRVM in my Rapid - Ambition!

I had been struggling with the OEM manual IRVM with the need to flip continuously for Day/Night modes while being trailed by high beams.
The Skoda / VWOEM Auto dimming unit retails at an obscene 25k. Got this for around 550/- including shipping from Boodmo. Took more than a month to deliver though. The expected date of delivery changed 4 times.

It is a straight fit on the existing mount. The position of the mirror changed and moved slightly ahead. Immediate advantages noticed:

1. Field of vision has vastly improved
2. Even without the electrical connection, the high beam glare is substantially reduced
3. The rimless design looks very classy and the install doesn't look aftermarket

re: Upgraded to an auto-dimming rear view mirror for Rs. 838 | EDIT: Honda hikes price to Rs 6500

I had ordered 2 of these for Rs 422 each plus shipping of Rs 136 in the beginning of September. Got the delivery after 4 weeks of no activity/ update.

I had gotten 2 for my Honda Amaze and Maruti Baleno. It took me 2 hours to get this working in the Baleno, as I was also hardwiring my Mi Dashcam that had been working on the USB cable for almost 6 months. I was planning to tap from the IRVM but realized it was better to do from the fusebox.

it works like a charm and was a perfect fit for the Maruti, while the Honda amaze uses a different mount.

Now planning to figure out some workaround for using the ceiling mount in the amaze for the installation. I know some members have done a pasting on the windscreen but is there another way? Maybe open up the leg of the IRVM and replace it with the OEM one?

the ball joint over which the mirror is adjusted could be separated. And then you could whack on the auto-dimming mirror minus its mount onto the pre-existing one.
I know that for a fact because once in my 4th gen City, with a non-electric IRVM, I'd bent over into the passenger footwell while seated in the driver's seat. When I raised myself up, and a bit too suddenly, I hit my head against the rear plastic surface of the IRVM and it knocked off the ball joint and into my lap.

This DIY looks so great. Can someone let us know if this works on Kia Sonet?
Auto dimming mirror is something I miss in my car.

Could you try to take off your mirror and show us the mount button? We could have a look and tell you if it's the same as needed.

This indeed is a much desired and useful DIY. I too had ordered for the item for my Ecosport. I was not sure about the mounting, but still decided to go ahead due to the price. However, after waiting for almost a month and in the absence of any assurances from the seller, I cancelled it. May be I should've waited for some more time.

Any idea if this works for a 2008 Zen Estilo Mark 1? Thanks in advance.

I'm placing an order anyway! If it doesn't work it will go to the giveaway thread
