The cost can vary for people, Its your luck on how much you can get the parts sourced at.

He was lucky to lay his hands on 5series projector and bezel thats why the look.

So even if you guys are planning the sourcing will play a major factor in costing.

This is a FIRST .... And hats off to sam786 to go all out on this project! I had the chance to see the lights and they are awesome. The low beam spread very very nice, the high beam is insane. Overall the visibility has increase 200% over the pathetic stock lighting of the GETZ.

Hi, the break up for the headlights are

Projector and Bezel - 10k
Angel Eyes - 2k

Hid kit depends on how much money you can spend, a chinese kit comes for as less as 3500, and a good Philips one would come for 10k. Quality of output would vary. And the projector and the bezel is subject to availability and the price fluctuates a lot. I got hold of a new unmodded projector and a fresh finish bezel.

The Chrome shroud around the projectors is called the BEZEL! Projectors without the bezel look ugly and the light would scatter around, creating a mess!

Got myself HID Projectors - need help on what to look for.

Hi Sam_786,

I've a Getz Prime CRDi and seeing your thread inspired me to buy a set of HID Projectors myself. I've bought them online and I'm waiting for them to be delivered in a week or so.

In the meanwhile - I have a few questions -

1. How did you open the Headlamp sealed casing?
2. Did you have to make additonal holes on the reflector assembly for placing the Projector in it?
3. Are the Projectors firmly fixed on to the reflectors? If so how?
4. Does the Headlamp tilt adjustment functionality (0-1-2-3) work even after the mod?

apart from these do you have a detailed list of steps/ things to watch out for before I start on my mod?

thanks and once again, great Job!! you rock!
