THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Spurred by the 'green energy' concept, and forced to search for alternative sources of revenue in a state where industrial growth has stagnated, the state electricity board (KSEB) is looking to set up charging stations for electric vehicles in major cities. The board is also planning to introduce electric vehicles in major government hospitals and technology parks soon.

Capital to get 32 charging stations for e-vehicles

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a move to encourage the use of electric vehicles, Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has submitted a proposal to the government to set up charging stations for electric vehicles at 185 locations in six cities across the state. The proposal has been considered by the government and as a pilot project, 32 e-vehicle charging stations will be installed in six locations across Thiruvananthapuram. KSEB has been appointed the nodal agency for setting up electric-vehicle charging stations and implementation of the e-vehicle policy.

Some 8 odd crore has been allocated for setting up charging stations, so I guess this is the plan that is going to be implemented.

I was surprised to see KSEB charging station near my home. Looks like they were serious about it.
I spotted total 4 electric cars in our city and all were Tatas.

Is there any place where we can get a list of all KSEB EV stations in Kerala ? I checked with one of my KSEB friend who is an As Ex Engr, but he did not have it. I had asked him list of all KSEB charging stations launched and proposed.

This is in Kannur? KSEB hosted chargers appear in ElectreeFi app.

Kerala announces the end of FREE Charging for EV's.

Free charging at the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) charging stations will come to an end in two weeks and it will cost the EV owners Rs. 15 per unit.

One of this charging facility is near my house. I always check whether someone uses it or not, and which car. 90% of the time it is Nexon and few times I spotted MG ZS/Tigor.
