| Re: Porsche's 1st all-electric car named Taycan Porsche unveils Taycan 4S with lower battery capacity Porsche has unveiled a new base variant of the Taycan called the 4S. The 4S joins the Turbo and Turbo S in the Taycan line-up.  Just like the Turbo and Turbo S, the 4S variant comes with two electric motors - one on each axle, and a 2-speed transmission on the rear axle. The car rides on 19-inch wheels and comes with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) and Porsche 4D Chassis Control. The Taycan 4S is offered with 2 battery pack options - 79.2 kWh and 93.4 kWh from the Turbo and Turbo S. They produce 523 BHP and 563 BHP respectively. Both variants are said to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in 3.8 seconds and are claimed to have a top speed of 249 km/h. With 800V DC fast charging, both battery packs can be charged from 5% to 80% in 22.5 minutes.  In the US, the 4S starts at US$ 1,03,800 for the 79.2 kWh variant and US$ 1,10,380 for the 93.4 kWh variant. The Turbo and the Turbo S cost US$ 1,50,900 and US$ 1,85,000 respectively. Top gear was caught lying again, they had not turned on Ludicrous + mode, it was in fact in Range mode, which is basically the opposite of performance mode by maximizing range, this was after Top gear insisted it was in Ludicrous+ mode, the screenshot below was retweeted by Elon Musk. https://sputniknews.com/science/2019...tesla-model-s/ Dragtimes made a video about it.
