LED DRL are more of a style/posh statement in India. Unlike Norway/Sweden/Finland, with as much sun as we get in India, they aren’t required. But steel wheels, no indicators on side view mirrors and no fog lamps? That’s a holler. Even my 5 year old Punto has alloys & fogs. I was initially very enthusiastic but given the launch prices of EV’s, rudderless policy etc., it seems the country is at least 8-10 years away to have a realistic go at them, i.e. for them to become mainstream. | |
