| ![]() Got a call from MG Motors, Electronic City. Booking have begun with an amount of 50K. The dealership has already received 20 bookings so far. Pricing will be announced in Jan. Tentative pricing mentioned by the Sales executive is between 22-25L. If the pricing is as per the sales guy, I am disappointed. Kona feels more value for money compared to ZS EV. Quote:

| ![]() was hoping for an exact date from when it is available and the price, not sure why they didn't do both. Almost all other info was available before itself. |

| ![]() Why is the ARAI range lesser than the Kona when the battery pack in larger? Even the motor output is similar. Is it down to the weight or the performance? The range is seriously disappointing. Kona in real life will give around 300 kms of range and i don't expect eZS to offer more than 225-230 kms. |

| ![]() Received the pics and brochure from the Sales team at MG. The range of 340Kms is ARAI certified which is disappointing as Kona offer 452Kms ARAI range. Last edited by speedmiester : 5th December 2019 at 15:03. |

https://www.teslaclub.in/post/kona-e...rip-experience If Kona is driven at 80 km/h it can even do a better range. While there may be multiple reasons for range difference of Zs Ev vs Kona, but various owners have updated that Zs Ev can go up to 300 km on Single Charge, sharing a link : Last edited by XRoader_001 : 5th December 2019 at 15:13. | |

| ![]() Fantastic! I have been eagerly waiting for the launch of the eZS. Reviews from the UK are largely positive. This car seems to be a lot more practical than the Kona. Would make eminent sense as a daily driver. The Kona is too small and the high floor makes for uncomfortable seating. The eZS seems to be much better on space and seating; feels a lot more premium too! |

| ![]() https://www.autocarindia.com/car-new...parison-415169 Autocar has done a specifications comparison in the above link. Interestingly, the Kona is slightly heavier than the eZS despite being smaller in dimensions and having a smaller battery pack. |

| ![]() Excited!!! ![]() I like the way they were mentioning Tesla and Elon Musk every now and then. That means they are serious about electrification. And a few times Rajeev Chabba mentioned its better than the Hector as well. Electric Vehicle revolution in passenger car segment has officially started. ![]() I wonder where the 'self appointed EV pioneer' Mahindra are with their plans for a decent passenger EV. I hope all the whining about 'infrastructure not existing' will die out soon. |

| ![]() What I loved about MG's approach is the seriousness with which they're focusing on EV infrastructure. They're providing fast chargers at their dealerships, installing a home charger for people, planning to install chargers across India ( they're pushing others to do the same as well) and providing a facility of charging vans to charge on the go / provide roadside assistance if you're battery is dead. And their target isn't a paltry 40-50 cars a month , they plan to sell 3k cars a year, which is ambitious. They have a game plan and they've got a head start. |
