Looks like Nissan NV200 - (read Nissan Evalia)....
If BYD can then why not Nissan.

If not they themselves (fear of failure -brand value drop).
They could've collaborated!!!
Nissan had already lent it to Ashok Leyland - (read Ashok Leyland-Stile)

Why don't these giants flex the right muscles, In India??

Looks like the deal seems to be more than an agreement. ETO motors entered into an exclusive partnership with BYD to assemble electric cargo three- and four-wheelers for the Indian market. The vehicles will be assembled from kits imported from China at ETO's plant near Hyderabad similar to partnership with partnership between Olectra and BYD for electric buses.

Apart from assembling electric vehicles, ETO also provides electric logistics solutions. The company had placed an order for 50 of BYD's T3 cargo vans which and targets to deploy 2,000 such vehicles by March 2020, as per Mathews. It is already in talks with companies like Flipkart, Ikea, and Delhivery, etc...

Any idea whether T3 leasing can be done by small businesses?
I couldn't find any website or information source for the same.
