Seems they are now getting ready for delivery they have started contacting customers for survey by electrical team for installation of chargers. The same was confirmed by SA as he informed that around 3 cars have been confirmed from Volvo to their dealership this month

For those that took a test drive of this vehicle, I am just curious what the expected range was showing?

From what I gather from watching a lot of youtube reviews is that real world range (with a/c naturally) is only around 260km at full charge? Doesn't seem possible with such a large battery. Sadly no test drive vehicle available in Goa and sales guys keep saying 300+ which none of the reviews are showing.

Not sure if its the mile <-> km conversion causing this confusion.

I had taken test drive of 2022 edition which showed a range of 310 km at around 78% charge although don’t have exact details of distance travelled prior to that, the dealership said as per their experience and mixed driving conditions they were getting around 350 range on a single charge which should also be real world range with mixed driving

The wait finally coming to an end! Finally got confirmation call that the vehicle allocation and the dealer shall be contacting for further procedures in coming week.

Finally received a call from the local Volvo dealership. Sadly despite placing an order for a sage green vehicle, they have only received a fjord blue and black. We were asked to switch to a different color but none of the options really stood out. Volvo has now given an estimated date of January for our desired color. Hopefully we get it sooner than that.

If possible, can you share the experience so far? This being a direct to customer attempt by the Volvo, curious to know how much of an involvement the dealer was having in the process.

Very little in the hands of the dealership (Flyga Auto, Pune, in my case). The price is fixed by the company ("no-hassle" pricing in their words). The booking is also done with the company and confirmed in an account on their website, so the dealership has no say about the queue, delivery dates or any wiggle room on the pricing.

The dealer makes money on the accessories (mats, flaps), PPF, comprehensive insurance (through Volvo) and extended warranty.

I will share more when I take delivery.

Team-BHP forums have been very helpful with hints about daily EV use, charging, etc. Kudos.

Seems Fjord Blue is the colour that getting delivered mine too on the way, the team already installed the charger so expecting the car within a week

Curious if you got the extended warranty, PPF, insurance from the dealer?

Insurance was over quoted initially but was able to negotiate and dealer finally matched the pricing, although the car is still in transit so haven’t really negotiated on extended warranty and accessories but seems will have to give in the dealers price for that, going without extended warranty is kind of a risk and I don’t want any surprises later on
