Honda has officially teased its next all-electric car, which will premiere at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show. More details of the EV crops up.



Honda says the future EV will be the first fully electric Honda model to be sold in China. Honda hasn't yet provided a name for the vehicle or a timeline. Being that it's just now teasing the car, it's referring to it as a concept, and all it has to show is a computer rendering, this vehicle may not be coming to market for some time and maybe a China specific model.

The teaser and the leaked image now seems to be pointing to a mid-sized Crossover.

The leaked image(below) of the EV concept that seems to be the rear design.

In the upcoming Beijing Motor Show 2020 is held, it is expected the reveal of the overall design will be seen along with the interiors.

An European debut is unlikely as this is speculated for the Asian Markets.

Honda unveils its First Electric car concept at the Beijing Auto show.

The name of this concept car is: Honda SUV e: concept and will be have a crossover styling.

The design style full of rigid, flat and straight lines makes the new car look particularly sharp. In addition, the car also uses a closed front face design, coupled with the LED light strip and luminous LOGO running through the front of the car, making this concept car quite sci-fi atmosphere.

Honda to introduce first electric vehicle in China next spring:

With the electric-powered sport utility vehicle as a start, Honda will accelerate the electrification of its products sold in China, the world's largest car market.

The automaker also unveiled a strategy that all new models to be launched in China after 2030 would be EVs or hybrid vehicles.

The SUV model with two types, e:NS1 and e:NP1, will be sold respectively by Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co. based in Wuhan, Hubei Province, and Guangqi Honda Automobile Co. based in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The two companies are joint ventures of the automaker and local car manufacturers.

Dongfeng Honda and Guangqi Honda, also known as GAC Honda, will also build EV-dedicated plants, aiming for starting operation in 2024. Honda plans to release 10 types of EVs in China over the next five years and also to export them.

Even the domestic chinese carmakers seem to be way ahead of honda in the EV race. They've launched an adequate product 5 years late.

Dongfeng Honda e: NS1 debuts, to be launched in Spring 2022.

it is understood that the car will be launched in spring 2022. The new car comes from Honda's new all-electric brand, e:N, and was born on the "e:N Architecture F" platform. It is reported that the "e:N" series of products

although the car is positioned as a compact SUV, length and width of 4390/1790/1560mm, wheelbase of 2610mm, but the car a large number of flat straight lines, increased the visual body mass. Officials have not disclosed the vehicle's battery pack capacity, but sources say the longest-range version will have a range of more than 500km. Honda is also stressing that the car will have good driving pleasure, the aerodynamic technology accumulated at the race will be injected into it, and Honda will also equip the car with noise reduction technology, Honda EV Sound acceleration sound waves.
