Ola launches "electric vehicle" taxi category in London

Ola now offers customers in London to book rides in a fully electric vehicle on its ride-hailing platform.

The Ola EV category will cost riders the same as a comfort category on the Ola app. Ola EV has 700 drivers across London and this number is expected to grow over the coming months.

Ola is promoting its EV category by offering drivers a 0% commission rate for the first 3 months for all-electric rides. The company will be extending offers to provide easy and affordable options for drivers and riders to shift to electric vehicles.
