BHPian ![]() | ![]() Here is an Ioniq 5 owner who explains why Hyundai/Kia has not learned properly from their mistakes regarding 12V battery management. He has owned a Kia eNiro in the past and he is neither new to electric cars nor is the first time facing the 12V battery management issues with Hyundai/Kia family. |

| ![]() Here is a video explaining the internals of the Ioniq 5. This is a pure technical video that infers the engineering gone into the vehicle. |

| ![]() The base version would compete with ZS EV at sub 30L bracket it seems. I pray for the dual motor motor to be under 45-50L on road. We really need an affordable 300bhp car in India. |

But Hyundai already has 2022 Kona in that range so how would the two fit in ? I am guessing it will be more in the 45L range. |

| ![]() Man this car is going to divide opinions like nothing else. Not a fan of strange retro-futuristic exercise in design in general and I hate this car. Kia EV6 for me any day. I often wonder how this design ever made it to production from concept stage. It appears Hyundai is flush with cash and can gamble with designs as they please. |
