I am a big, BIG fan of wagons and Taycan Cross Turismo is possibly the most beautiful wagon I have ever laid my eyes on. Better than Buick Regal TourX and Subaru Levorg.

Re: Porsche Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo launched in India at Rs 1.50 crore

Good pricing by Porsche. It undercuts its sibling Audi e-tron GT by almost 30 lakhs(Base model without options). In Europe, the Taycan turbo is head to head with Audi e-tron GT RS in terms of pricing, so i don't see any reason why people will choose the Audi over Porsche.
The Taycan cross reminds me of the shooting brake editions from Aston Martin. Such beautiful designs.

Taycan Cross Turismo also has off-road mode that adds ground clearance. Best suited for India for those speed bumps.

Re: Porsche Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo launched in India at Rs 1.50 crore

That's great news. While I don't expect there will a lot of takers, but even by introducing these EV models to India, manufacturers are definitely helping in changing the mindset of the Indian audience and their acceptance of EVs. Still a long road ahead.

On a separate note, did anyone notice the not-so-discreet product placement for Taycan in the recently released Red Notice?

Re: Porsche Taycan and Taycan Cross Turismo launched in India at Rs 1.50 crore

The Taycan is a real alternative to supercars. Still a great badge, mind-numbing acceleration from the higher variants, more practical & Porsche's network. Not only are Porsches generally more useable on a daily basis, but also their reliability is top class (especially from the 2nd - 3rd model year onward).

Will find a lot of takers from people who can easily afford a supercar, but want more practicality with a badge. Performance "electric cars" come with their own bragging rights.

Good time to have 2 crores in your pocket. This, the mighty new S-Class, next-gen Range Rover and perhaps, the Tesla Model S soon.

Note to self: If I ever find myself fortunate enough to take the delivery of such a gorgeous car, I should stand next to the car and not in front of the car.

The Taycan is also the most aerodynamic Porsche yet.

0-100kph takes a claimed 5.4sec, and it will do 200 in around 17.6sec.

A beautiful 16.8-inch piece of frameless curved glass works as the instrument cluster. While there’s no hood to shield it from the sun, the amazing bit is that visibility is always good.

The seating position is low and sporty, but not too low, visibility is excellent and the angle of the steering column is perfect

Porsche’s Taycan is a game changer. An electric car you can genuinely enjoy from behind the wheel, almost as much as any combustion engine-powered car, it represents a big step forward in the evolution of the electric car.

That gentleman happens to be the owner of the Dealership

We got only 2 or 3 allocations for the Turbo, lapped up immediately. The others also got sold-out very fast.

It looks nice but my pick will be the cross-turismo.

I mean no disrespect and I am sure it is the natural way to pose for a car delivery picture. It's a bit like car nuts asking pretty ladies to step aside so they could get a better view of the car :-)
