I am at 22656KM and have not seen any drop in range after a full charge. The car was on the road since 1st oct 2022.
I tried this but no improvement. Going forward I’ll stick to the portable charger for majority of my charging. I read somewhere that the ZS EV state of battery is simply a pre-calculated state instead of the actual battery status. Lets see. I just wanted to see if anyone has seen this drop or if this is an anomaly.

I've read that too. Since my running is pretty low, I'll give an update here after a few months. If the SOH is pre calculated based on the number of months, my battery should also show signs of drop irrespective of the total mileage. Right now I'm at 6 months and around 4k kms.

Do you use the portable charger for charging?

I use the 7.4kW charger installed at my home. On road trips (which is usually once in 2 months), I use the 50kW ones.

My MG iSmart app is showing 400km range for 100% SOC, but the dashboard is showing 357km only at 100% SOC. Is this difference common or should there be some fix which I need to apply? And finally which one should I rely on?

400Kms is the range without AC in Normal mode. 357Kms range is for Eco mode with AC. If this is the case, then it's normal. Nothing to worry

It's the same with me. I believe the app works on standard km/kwh while the one on dashboard takes historical data into consideration. I would rely on the dashboard data.

Re: 2022 MG ZS EV Facelift Review

I wanted this car so badly, but MG dealers totally messed up. My experience with MG hasn't been great.

Had booked Astor on the day the bookings were open, dealer didn't follow up, even variant change didn't bring any luck, and waited for 7 months and had to cancel it. Now it's a flop car. I hardly see them on road.

In February last year, had booked this ZS EV with another dealer. But they were not able to deliver because they had enough bookings. I wasn't particular about color, yet they didn't deliver one even after waiting for 5 months.

In March last year, my cousin brother wanted a Hector Diesel in Burgundy Red shade, here too no dealer had that color in stock and was quoted a waiting of 3 months. Booked one and had to literally beg for MG too get one alloted. At last, MG Mangalore called me and said they have one which can be delivered to me. I immediately blocked it and paid very next day and bought it.

Good that the MG ZS EV has been selling well in recent times. It's my default choice under 30 lakhs.

Re: 2022 MG ZS EV Facelift Review

How do we know if the equalization charge is underway? Is there any status light that indicates this?

I just charge it to 100% and wait for all the lights to go off and hope that the equalization has happened.

Any insights by fellow owners would be appreciated.

.
That is exactly what i have been doing. Also i have noticed a few times the range drop to 393 or 395 at 100% after three or four consecutive 50KWH fast charges. But it goes back up to 400 after a charging session with the portable charger which i leave on for a few hours after it has charged to 100%.

Which lights you were referring to?

The status lights next to the car's charging port.

I usually charge using the 7kW charger which blinks while charging and becomes solid after charge finishes.
