• Range not quite enough for long-distance touring. Range anxiety will be a factor on road-trips
• Third row has awkward accessibility and limited space. Not a true 7-seater
• DC fast charging is unlikely to be widely available in near future. 11 kW AC charging takes overnight for a full charge
• Missing features like a spare tyre (!!!), ventilated seats which cheaper cars get, etc.
• Boot space with all rows up is a measly 110 litres. A better 465 litres with 3rd row down, but the optional spare tyre will chew away useable space

Voted for EV6, since it is the best-looking one out there. Mini is good but limited by range. Rest are trying to hide the electric motor under the IC engine hood. They need to work out the bonnet design.

All good EVs on the list, and some well-priced too (e.g. BMW i4). That being said, the most unimpressive EV on this thread is the Cooper SE. Too expensive for what it offers, and even a Nexon EV has better range. The real-world range of the Cooper SE will be <200 km.

My pick is the Kia EV6. Head-turner styling, fast powertrain, superbly engineered, dedicated new EV platform (unlike most other ICE to EV convert vehicles).

If you're out shopping in this segment, wait for the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Just got unveiled, with the launch coming up in January. As a CKD, it will naturally be priced under the CBU EV6.

Mini Cooper SE seems like a misfit in this poll.

My vote is for Volvo XC 40 recharge. Among the lot it's got the highest power at lowest cost without compromising on the range. Kia EV6 is a close second for me. i4 isn't practical for Indian roads.

EQB with its configuration at this price point is dead on arrival. The only saving grace is the lack of availability of XC 40 recharge and EV 6 will have a trickle down effect on demand for EQB.

Anything under 150 mm is asking for trouble on Indian roads IMHO.

My pragmatic pick would be the Volvo XC40 and Kia EV6, in that order, or the Hyundai Ioniq when its launched.

XC40 Recharge if you don't care about rear seat comfort, EV6 for the overall package but the Ioniq 5 will beat them all if launched around 50L ex-showroom.

Given that a money is not a constraint, it has to be Kia EV6 any day, a ground up built electric vehicle over a modified ICE car. Not too mention features like V2L, Unbelievable fast charging and really long range.
